Today I wanted to share a brief blog about how I do newborn sessions . I have trained online with the renowned Ana Brandt in newborn posing. I love babies and children. I am a mother to 6 and gamma to 3. I have been photographing my own children now over 28 years. I have found over the years that I need to be very flexible when it comes to a newborn session.

As a past breastfeeding mother and one that did not use a pacifier I knew early on I wanted to do things different than others. I follow baby and mothers lead when it comes to a session . I also bring everything I need to your home. Lets face it babies hate car seats and just need to nurse and often in the early weeks and months. It is not pleasant trying to leave for a session. Need help getting ready? No problem . 

I am now offering sessions in my new HOME studio. It is a option I have wanted to offer especially for families who share they don't want feel they have what they want or the idea of cleaning (which is not needed imo ) 

So I approach things naturally. If baby needs to nurse or is fussy, don't fret. I love documenting REAL LIFE  baby nursing in your arms . Laying in your bed . Littles running around the house. 

If your baby is settled  after nursing then I will work on some of those cute outfits and poses. Here are a few various lovely sessions .
