I took some of my kiddos to the St Augustine lighthouse recently and it was actually not busy with tourists and we could actually enjoy and explore the grounds. I forget I have a membership ! They are So helpful and great at educating us on the rich history . It is great for homeschool families like us.
A few of my images were recently featured on their Instagram page and website as well as a few other publications have used a particular image of a brand new exhibit ; Legends of the light .
My images were featured in the Come see Orlando article all about the newest exhibit http://www.comeseeorlando.com/2017/10/florida-unique-research-conservation.html
It is a new area just for children of all ages, but ideal for the little ones that have not reached the 'height requirements ' to climb the lighthouse. It has etch a sketch stations, hands on activities like a puppet show area and it gives moms a nice cool place to nurse their nursling . AND SO MUCH MORE.
There is also a new cafe serving healthy options and local Ancient City Brewery beers .
Check out their website for everything you need to know to plan a visit http://staugustinelighthouse.org
