Sometimes birth does not go as we desire. This mother never once said "I can't do this". She never complained. She went 42 weeks and the entire week prior she experienced off and on surges . Her care providers wanted her to induce but she made her educated choice to decline. 

Technology can suck honestly. Wireless monitors can fail. And when they fail Drs panic. 

Baby Logan was born via a belly birth  and he weighed 7 pounds and 8 oz. Covered in vernix. 

I served as mom's birth doula and birth photographer  and was so very proud of her!
